Review #1 - Bunnahabhain 12
I'm not one who can taste the world in a dram of scotch, but I have been smoking cigars and drinking scotch for a few years, so thought I might start my hand at reviewing. So, don't expect me to tell you that something taste like the dew collected from a milkmaid's calves after a walk through the heather or anything like that, but I should be able to give you some basic flavors and an honest opinion.
Bunnahabhain 12 - Served in a glencairn with a splash of filtered water. This mini was gifted to me by a generous friend from work.
Nose:
Toffee. Caramelish. Lightly oaky. Fresh. Something lightly briny, perhaps?
Taste:
Malty. Slightly nutty, with a little sweetness. Good warmth going down.
Finish:
Lightly herbal? A touch of salty tang. A slight sense of wet seastone at the end.
Summary:
Tasty stuff! I enjoyed it.
Rating: ★★★★
I didn't buy this in the first place, but I would certainly pick this up. A nice dram.

(Author's note: My pictures get better than this. Honestly.)
